Our Work in the Field
Stories of change — each one rooted in a real community, a real need, and real people working together.
What We've Built Together
Each initiative begins with listening. Below are programs we are proud to share — alive, growing, and rooted in love for children.
Children's Day is celebrated in Nigeria every 27th of May. At Abivah Foundation, we take this opportunity to celebrate and honor our children in a special way. We partner with other organizations to create a fun and memorable experience, or we visit selected orphanages and underserved communities to spend quality time with the children. During these celebrations, we share gifts, food, and essential supplies while engaging them in joyful activities that make the day meaningful and memorable.
Empowerment Sunday is a dedicated outreach initiative where we demonstrate the love of Jesus in practical ways by feeding the hungry, organizing engaging activities for children, and teaching the Word of God. The program is designed to support local churches by allowing teachers a day of rest while our team leads children-focused Bible teaching and activities. It is held on a selected Sunday in partnership with a local church within the community.
We understand the importance of education in the lives of our children, which is why we organize this program to educate and empower them on various topics, life issues, career paths, and personal development. We also provide school supplies and educational resources to support their academic journey. Guest speakers with expertise in diverse fields are invited to share their knowledge, inspire the students, and equip them with valuable skills and insights for the future.
At Abivah Foundation, we know that every child loves Santa — and so do we! Each year, we bring Santa to our selected communities to spread joy and create unforgettable memories for children. Santa arrives with plenty of gifts, food, and fun games for the children to enjoy. To make the celebration even more exciting, we also invite a DJ and MC to keep the energy high as children dance, laugh, and celebrate together. It is always a joyful day filled with excitement, connection, and the spirit of giving.
