How It All Began

In the Beginning

Abivah Foundation was born out of a deep desire to help children discover their purpose early in life while creating moments of joy, hope, and happiness for them. What began as a simple conversation shared with a few friends eventually became a vision that could no longer be ignored. Children's Day on May 27 provided the perfect opportunity to launch what would become the first outreach of Abivah Foundation.

As a teenager, Oreoluwa often observed other children and young people who seemed naturally gifted and purposeful. She frequently wondered what her own gifts and purpose were. Years later, after reading The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, her understanding of purpose was transformed. The book opened her eyes to the importance of discovering one's God-given purpose and ignited a passion to help children do the same.

Today, Abivah Foundation has grown into a registered nonprofit organization with dedicated team members who share the vision, a growing network of supporters and volunteers, a virtual workspace, and a renewed commitment to serving children and families.

Oreoluwa Oni

Oreoluwa Oni is a devoted mother of three beautiful girls and a passionate advocate for children.

Her passion is rooted in Luke 2:52, where Jesus grew in a balanced way — spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially. This inspires her belief that every child should be intentionally guided and supported as they grow.

She believes children should not have to figure life out alone, but should be surrounded by parents, mentors, and communities who walk with them and help shape their future with love and intentionality.

What People Say

Stories from Our Community

I want to talk about the Abivah Foundation that came to our school last year. I really enjoyed them. They taught us many things including songs, dance and they gave us gifts, they spent time with us, shared love with us and created a proper atmosphere. I pray God continues to move the Abivah Foundation forward.

They make children happy. They are so concerned about their welfare. Last year's program was powerful and very spiritual. They interacted with the children and made them happy, as if they had known them before. That made me so happy. The testimonies my children and teenagers were giving me after made me even happier.
